This is a “hands-on” assignment, an opportunity for each student to… This is a “hands-on” assignment, an opportunity for each student to be creative! Based upon Chapters 4 – 6 create two (2) computer drawings using either the Mr. Doob Harmony program at http://mrdoob.com/120/Harmony Paint Online – Sketch & Paint! program at http://www.onemotion.com/flash/sketch-paint/ These two programs differ a some. The Mr. Doob works better for Apple computers, though it can be used on PC’s. When using Mr. Doob you need to use a browser other than Internet Explorer, the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome works the best. Remember to make sure the pop-up blocker is off. Paint Online is pretty straightforward, but does not offer some of the bells and whistles that Mr. Doob does. Both of these programs offer very few instructions – it is an intuitive program. It is best to practice using the program before submitting the assignment. You will want to spend time experimenting with which ever program you choose – an important part of the creative process is figuring out how things work, making mistakes, and a little bit of playing. 1)     Create a realistic tonal drawing ( variety of black, white, and gray) of a cup or a piece of fruit (apple, banana, orange – what ever you have in your kitchen) – provide as much detail of what you see as possible. 2)     Create a non-representational drawing expressing a mood (happy, sad, etc.). This drawing must include at least three (3) colors and contain both geometric and organic shapes. When submitting this drawing make sure to identify the colors you used. Consider using a color harmony or palette. Remember warm colors advance and cool colors recede. Consider establishing variety within the image through the use of balance, emphasis, texture, pattern, repetition, interval, and visual rhythm when creating the drawing. STEP 1:Save this assignment as a .PDF and submit as an attachment in ASSIGNMENTS. Submit both of these images in one (1) .PDF.  If you have difficultly saving the drawing on your desktop the best work around is taking a screen shot and then, saving the screen shot as a .PDF. Here is a weblink with instructions on how to take a screen shot for both PC and Mac:http://www.take-a-screenshot.orgRemember to label your file as follows:Student’s Last Name ART 239 Drawing.pdfSTEP 2: Go to FORUMS and post in Online Drawings. Upload your drawings and share ideas on how to work with the programs. Make sure that you upload your images in the text box and they are publicly viewable.I need some help I really bad at drawing, can you guys help me please !!Thanks a lot           Arts & Humanities Architecture ART MISC Share QuestionEmailCopy link Comments (0)
